Report: Musk asked Trump to restrict Starlink access for Ukraine
Original: Musk approached Trump to slow down Starlink in Ukraine
The Telegraph reports that Elon Musk approached Donald Trump asking him to slow down or restrict Starlink services used by Ukraine. Starlink satellites have been critical to Ukrainian military communications since Russia's invasion, so any curtailment would directly affect the battlefield. The reported approach has reignited debate over Musk's influence on the war and US policy toward Kyiv.
Why now: Claims that Musk sought to limit a service Ukraine depends on for its war effort are politically explosive and touch on ongoing US debates over support for Kyiv.
