Ubuntu 26.10, codenamed with the Myna voice dictation feature, is released today. Myna offers speech-to-text running entirely locally as a preview. The release also brings GNOME 51, replaces dbus-daemon with dbus-broker, and adds a Drivers page in the App Center including NVIDIA support. The version is supported for nine months, until July 2027.
