Carlos Alcaraz will compete at the Vienna Open after the Six Kings Slam exhibition event in Saudi Arabia was postponed. Tournament director Herwig Straka says Alcaraz agreed to play in Vienna without hesitation once the Saudi event fell through. The ATP 500 tournament now boasts a strong field featuring Alcaraz alongside Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev, a major boost for the event's profile.

Why now: The sudden postponement of the Saudi exhibition freed Alcaraz's schedule, and his entry strengthens the Vienna field at short notice.
