Rafael says Israel ended Iran war with more interceptors than it started with
Original: Rafael CEO: We ended the Iran war with more interceptors than we started with
The head of Israeli defense company Rafael said the country finished its recent war with Iran holding more air defense interceptors than it had at the start of the conflict. The claim points to accelerated production and resupply of missile defense stockpiles during the fighting, countering earlier concerns that interceptor inventories were being depleted faster than they could be replaced.
Why now: It reassures audiences worried that Israel's missile defense stocks were running dangerously low during the Iran conflict.
