Foldable iPhone inner screen repair put at $999
Original: iPhone Duo's inner screen costs $999 to fix without AppleCare+
A report says the inner display of the rumored iPhone Duo, Apple's expected foldable phone, would cost $999 to repair for users without AppleCare+ coverage. The figure, if accurate, would make it one of the most expensive screen repairs Apple has charged, underlining the premium cost of owning the company's first foldable device.
Why now: Attention is on Apple's expected entry into the foldable phone market and the unusually high repair costs it may bring.
