A musician shared an FTW session praising century-old harmonic progressions, arguing that aside from Instagram, little has truly changed in music since then. The post adds that Instagram will eventually fade away while these progressions will endure. The remark reflects a common sentiment among players that foundational harmony remains timeless compared to newer platforms and trends.
Why now: The claim that little in music has changed in a century is a provocative take that invites debate among musicians.
