Susan Sarandon in Rome slams Trump and televised executions

Original: fucilazione

At the Rome Film Festival, US actress Susan Sarandon called Donald Trump 'without morality' and condemned as 'out of his mind' any idea of televising death penalty executions, a reference to proposals circulating in the United States. Her remarks, reported by Corriere della Sera, drew attention in Italy, where Democratic Party leader Elly Schlein was also in the audience for the event.

Why now: Sarandon's sharp comments on Trump and capital punishment at the Rome Film Festival are making headlines in Italy.
