Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted for the first time that Egypt's intelligence chief visited Israel before the October 7 Hamas attack, confirming a visit his office had previously denied. The admission, reported by Repubblica, is fueling renewed scrutiny of intelligence failures ahead of the attack, and comes amid revived speculation about a possible new Israeli strike on Iran.
