Twenty-two veterans from Alaska traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of the Last Frontier Honor Flight, a program that flies veterans to the nation's capital to visit war memorials. The trip gives older veterans, many of whom have never seen the monuments dedicated to their service, a chance to visit sites including the World War II Memorial.
