Epic pushes new Games Launcher as Fortnite shop draws attention
Original: fortnite shop
Epic Games is prompting Fortnite players to leave Steam and try its relaunched Games Launcher, which the company bills as faster. The move comes as players continue checking the Fortnite item shop, whose rotating daily cosmetics remain one of the game's biggest draws. Commenters have been skeptical, with some mocking the launcher as rushed, while others welcome performance improvements.
Why now: Epic's push to migrate players from Steam to its new launcher is prompting renewed interest in Fortnite's daily shop.
