A story circulating in Japanese entertainment circles claims that Kanjani Eight's Murakami Shingo lost a radio program because of his admiration for the Kanto dialect. No further details about the broadcaster, the show, or the circumstances have been confirmed, and it remains unclear whether the claim is serious or a comedic anecdote from the show itself.
