Daniel Jones's slow start contrasts with Colts kicker Spencer Shrader
Original: daniel jones has 3 touchdowns this season for 18 pts after 5 games. spencer shrader has scored 58 points on the # colts
Through five games this NFL season, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones has accounted for three touchdowns, worth 18 points, while kicker Spencer Shrader has scored 58 points for the team. Fans are pointing out the gap between Jones's production and his two-year, $88 million contract versus Shrader's minimal two-year deal, joking that the kicking game is outscoring the offense and that quarterback pay in the league is out of whack.
Why now: Fans find it striking that a backup-level kicker on a tiny salary is outscoring a quarterback paid $88 million.
