Moggi denies knowing Giraudo and slams Elkann over Juventus

Original: luciano moggi

Former Juventus executive Luciano Moggi says he barely knows ex-club chairman Antonio Giraudo, his one-time 'brother' from the Calciopoli era, and has also attacked John Elkann, declaring that 'betrayals are the order of the day at Juve'. His comments reignite debate over the club's old leadership and the current ownership's handling of its latest crisis.

Why now: Juventus is going through a turbulent period and Moggi's remarks about his former ally and the Agnelli-family ownership are provocative.
