Faber to stop distributing Sally Rooney books in UK

Original: sally rooney

Publisher Faber says it will no longer distribute Sally Rooney's books in the UK, citing legislation that outlaws support for Palestine Action. The decision has drawn attention across Europe, with the author's name trending in several countries as readers and writers debate the legal risks faced by publishers and the implications for free expression around the banned group.

Why now: Faber's announcement that Palestine Action legislation prevents it from distributing Rooney's work has sparked debate over censorship and free speech.
