Haiku on aged stone steps captures deep time
Original: Stone steps steeply aged Monoliths measure footfalls By eons - not years # Haiku # OneHaikuADay # WritersCollective # wr
A haiku circulating among writers reflects on ancient stone steps worn by countless footsteps, measuring time in eons rather than years. The poem, shared within daily haiku and writing community circles, is tagged to an autumn nature setting at the Akron Zoo near the John Brown Memorial, drawing connections between the landscape's age and the abolitionist's legacy.
Why now: It is part of an active daily haiku and writing community sharing seasonal nature poetry.
