Original: Deezer will soon let you filter out AI-generated music https:// lemmy.zip/post/73231103
Deezer says it will soon offer listeners a way to filter out AI-generated music from its streaming platform. The move follows growing concern in the music industry over the flood of synthetic tracks uploaded to streaming services, and positions Deezer alongside other platforms grappling with how to label or limit AI-made content. Reactions online are focused on what this means for human artists and playlist quality.
Why now: Streaming platforms are under pressure to address the surge of AI-generated tracks, and a major service taking action is notable news.
