Sudan sets condition for dialogue with Ethiopia over RSF support
Original: News: Sudan says dialogue with Ethiopia possible if it stops supporting RSF
Sudan says it is open to dialogue with Ethiopia, but only if Addis Ababa stops supporting the Rapid Support Forces, the paramilitary group fighting Sudan's army. The statement comes amid strained relations between the two neighbours, with Khartoum accusing Ethiopia of backing the RSF in the ongoing conflict. It is not yet clear how Ethiopia has responded to the demand.
Why now: Sudan publicly accused a key neighbour of supporting its enemy, putting future bilateral relations in question.
