A new free Firefox extension called Weather & Clock Dashboard replaces the browser's new tab page with a live weather station showing temperature, humidity, wind and a clock. It draws its data from Open-Meteo's free API, so users pay no subscription, and is available through Mozilla's official add-on store.

Why now: A free, no-subscription weather add-on for Firefox is a handy new tool users are sharing.
