US pastor Boyd Bingham IV has come under criticism after a remark describing teaching children as the starting point of 'indoctrination' circulated online. Critics say the comment illustrates how pro-Israel views are instilled from an early age, with some linking it to broader support for Israel's conduct in Gaza. The remarks have drawn condemnation from users discussing Zionism, US evangelical influence and the Middle East conflict.

Why now: A pastor's comment about indoctrinating children is being circulated as evidence of how pro-Israel attitudes are formed, amid ongoing anger over Gaza.
