SpaceX caps Starlink speeds in Ukraine
Original: SpaceX caps Ukraine Starlink speed
SpaceX has imposed speed caps on Starlink service in Ukraine, restricting the satellite internet that Ukrainian forces and civilians have relied on since Russia's full-scale invasion. Starlink has been critical battlefield infrastructure, and SpaceX's terms of use have repeatedly been a flashpoint between Elon Musk's company, the Pentagon and Kyiv. Observers are questioning the timing and the impact on military communications.
Why now: Starlink is vital Ukrainian battlefield infrastructure, so any cap by SpaceX raises immediate concerns about military communications and political leverage.
