Users Circulate List of Independent Media Alternatives to Western Outlets
Original: List of Reputable Alternative/ # Independent Media [Substitutes to (Biased/Corrupt/Genocidal) Western # Mainstream # Med
A list of alternative and independent media sources is being circulated as substitutes for what it calls biased or corrupt Western mainstream media. The list names journalists including Julian Assange, Richard Medhurst, Glenn Greenwald, Sarah Wilkinson and Gonzalo Lira, and platforms such as Rumble. It reflects ongoing distrust of legacy outlets, particularly around coverage of conflicts in the Middle East.
Why now: Distrust of Western mainstream media coverage, especially of Middle East conflicts, is driving interest in alternative news sources.
