Ukrainian pilots turn to disposable cameras in cockpit

Original: ウクライナ空軍

Ukraine's air force is in the news after reports that Ukrainian fighter pilots are being issued simple Japanese disposable cameras. The unlikely reason: with no reliable onboard recording in some aircraft, the analog cameras are used to document intercepts and confirm combat results. Separately, President Zelensky announced Canada will join the FREYJA ballistic missile defence project being developed with European partners, keeping Ukraine's air-defence push in focus.

Why now: Fresh reports of Ukrainian fighter pilots using disposable cameras, plus new missile-defence cooperation news, are drawing attention to Ukraine's air force.
