Xiaomi's Beijing 'dark factory' is drawing attention for running 24/7 with robots, AI and machine vision handling production with almost no human workers on the floor. Indian industrialist Harsh Goenka reacted publicly, saying India has 'so much to learn from China', comments circulated via NDTV Profit. The facility is being cited as proof that fully automated manufacturing is already operational, not just a concept, sparking debate about automation and competitiveness.
