Original: Martinez slams Man Utd hierarchy after Atletico defeat
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has publicly criticised the club's hierarchy following the team's defeat to Atletico Madrid. According to Reuters, the Argentina international did not hold back in his assessment of the club's leadership after the loss. The remarks add to mounting scrutiny of how United are being run behind the scenes.
Why now: A senior player openly criticising his own club's leadership is rare and fuels debate about the crisis at Manchester United.
