2026 MAMA Awards Accused Of Rigging Criteria To Favor HYBE
Original: “2026 MAMAs” Accused Of Changing Award Criteria To Benefit HYBE But Sabotage Top Female Idol https:// fed.brid.gy/r/http
The 2026 MAMA Awards are facing accusations that organizers altered the award criteria to favor HYBE artists while disadvantaging a top female idol. Fans are debating whether the changed rules amount to favoritism toward the label and unfair treatment of the female star, renewing long-running criticism of award show fairness in the K-pop industry. Neither Mnet nor HYBE has publicly addressed the allegations.
Why now: K-pop fans are reacting to claims of a major award show changing its rules in ways that allegedly favor one label over a rival artist.
