Grace Hopper Celebration 2026 Cancelled

Original: Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) 2026 Cancelled

AnitaB.org has cancelled the Grace Hopper Celebration for 2026, the largest gathering of women in computing. The announcement, made via press release, ends a longstanding annual event that drew tens of thousands of technologists, researchers and students. Attendees and companies that sponsor the conference are reacting to the abrupt decision, with questions about refunds and the event's future unresolved.

Why now: The flagship conference for women in technology is a major fixture in the industry, so its cancellation is significant news for attendees, employers and sponsors.
