Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has publicly criticised the club's recruitment, saying he expects more from technical director Jason Wilcox. His comments came after Argentina's international window, with reference to United's 2-0 Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid. The remarks have sparked debate among fans about whether the club's transfer investment matches its ambitions this season.
Why now: A current United player publicly blaming the club's leadership over transfer policy is rare and fuels debate about United's recruitment strategy.
