Another tank explodes at Rostov oil terminal
Original: In Rostov, another tank exploded at the oil filling terminal of the Novoshachtinsky plant, which was attacked on October
A fuel tank has exploded at the oil filling terminal of the Novoshachtinsky plant in Russia's Rostov region, according to reports circulating online. The facility was already damaged in a Ukrainian attack on October 10, and observers say this is the latest in a series of fires and blasts at the site since then.
Why now: Russia's oil infrastructure continues to be hit in Ukrainian strikes, and repeated blasts at the same plant weeks after an attack draw attention to whether the terminal has been struck again or is still burning.
