Far-right election groups target nursing homes over vote claims

Far-right election groups are turning their attention to nursing homes, spurred by new guidance from the Trump administration. They are claiming, without evidence, that left-wing organisations are stealing residents' votes in these facilities. Critics say the claims are baseless and raise concerns that the campaigns could intimidate elderly voters and care workers ahead of upcoming elections.
Why now: The Trump administration's new guidance on nursing home voting has prompted far-right groups to amplify unproven fraud claims, drawing attention and concern.
