Sweden face Lithuania as Blackstenius benched

Original: sverige litauen

Sweden are taking on Lithuania, with attention centred on striker Stina Blackstenius being left out of the starting line-up. When asked about the decision, she curtly replied "next question", fuelling speculation about her situation in the squad. The match and the striker's frosty response are being widely discussed in Sweden right now.

Why now: The Sweden–Lithuania match is being played now, and Blackstenius being benched plus her refusal to discuss it is drawing attention.
