Cloudflare now hosts more sites than Amazon, OVH and Google combined

Original: The web has a landlord. Cloudflare's network hosts 6.37M sites in cl0q's index. That's more than Amazon, OVH, and Google

An analysis of a website index puts 6.37 million sites on Cloudflare's network, a total said to exceed the hosting footprints of Amazon, OVH and Google combined. The count reportedly includes major tenants such as Discord, underlining how much of the web now runs through a single infrastructure company.

Why now: People are reacting to fresh figures showing Cloudflare's dominance of web hosting infrastructure, reviving debate about centralisation of the internet.
