Original: goliath six flags

Six Flags has shut down its Goliath roller coasters across its US and Canadian parks following a fatal incident and multiple injuries at Six Flags Over Georgia. The New York Times reports the closures as a precaution while investigators examine what went wrong. Riders and theme-park fans are closely following safety updates and questions about ride inspections.

Why now: A recent fatal accident at a Six Flags park prompted precautionary closures of the same ride model across North America.
