Krishnamurti's idea of psychological time finds new readers
Original: Psychological time? It is the interval between idea and action. Krishnamurti Freedom from the Known The Beatles ~ Free A
A quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti's book 'Freedom from the Known' — that psychological time is the interval between idea and action — is being shared widely, often paired with The Beatles' song 'Free As A Bird'. The line reflects Krishnamurti's teaching that inner, mental time is a construct of thought, and readers are using it as a prompt for reflection on philosophy and psychology.
Why now: Readers of philosophy and psychology content are passing around a striking Krishnamurti quote as a prompt for reflection.
