Germans pay triple for energy yet stay off the streets

Original: 🗨️ Mark is legend! Yes, Polit-Idiots are everywhere! And here in # germany , people would rather pay nearly three times

A comment circulating online praises a figure named Mark and criticises politicians over energy policy, calling them 'polit-idiots'. The author argues that in Germany people are paying nearly three times as much for energy and heating yet refuse to take to the streets to demand the government's resignation, accusing leaders of treating citizens like fuel to be burned.

Why now: Frustration over high German energy and heating prices is fuelling criticism of politicians.
