US and Europe reportedly drafting new Ukraine peace plan
Original: Waffenstillstand entlang der Frontlinie und Artikel 5 der # NATO : Die # USA und # Europa bereiten ein weiteres Friedens
The United States and European governments are reportedly preparing another peace agreement for Ukraine that would include a ceasefire along the current front line and security guarantees modelled on NATO's Article 5. The reported plan would involve territorial concessions from Ukraine. Observers note that Russia is widely expected to reject the terms, with many arguing this outcome is clear to all parties in advance.
Why now: Renewed diplomatic efforts around a Ukraine ceasefire and Western security guarantees are drawing attention amid ongoing war negotiations.
