Nothing CEO calls iPhone a 'waste of money'
Original: Nothing's CEO calls the iPhone Duo a "waste of money," but Apple doesn't give a damn
Nothing CEO Carl Pei has publicly dismissed Apple's iPhone, reportedly calling it a "waste of money," while Apple has shown no reaction to the remark. The comments come as Nothing continues to position itself as a challenger to Apple and Samsung with its distinctive Android phones, and observers note the criticism seems aimed more at grabbing attention than shifting any market share.
Why now: A rival CEO publicly attacking the iPhone generates buzz in the tech world ahead of phone launches and sales competition.
