Developer claims Higgsfield reverse engineered in 12 hours
Original: Dear Higgsfield, I reverse engineered you in 12 hours
An engineer writing under the name Sirio says they fully reverse engineered Higgsfield, an AI video generation tool, in just 12 hours, publishing an open letter addressed directly to the company. The claim has drawn large attention online, with readers debating whether the feat exposes weaknesses in the startup's technical moat or protection of its product.
Why now: The bold claim of copying an AI video startup's product in half a day raises questions about how defensible such tools really are.
