EU PFHxA Restrictions Under REACH Now in Effect
Restrictions on PFHxA, a member of the 'forever chemicals' family, have now taken effect across the European Union under the REACH regulation. The measure limits the manufacture, placing on the market and use of PFHxA and related substances, affecting sectors such as coatings, textiles and consumer goods as companies adjust to the new compliance requirements.
Why now: Businesses and regulators are reacting to the entry into force of new EU chemical restrictions.
