Book pairings arranged by Goethe's complementary colours

A German-language photo suggestion challenge is inviting readers to arrange books by complementary colour pairs based on Goethe's colour wheel: blue-orange, red-green, and yellow-violet. Participants list titles matching each pair, including Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion', Jasper Fforde's 'The Fall of Jane Eyre', John Christopher's 'The Tripods' trilogy, and Flann O'Brien. The playful trend blends photography, colour theory and book collecting.

Why now: Readers are joining a creative photo challenge that combines Goethe's colour theory with showcasing their bookshelves.
