Original: OsazuwaAkonedo NewsChronicles ~ IDF Confirms Massive Strikes In Yemen, Houthis Says Israel Soldiers Retreat IDF Confirms
The Israeli military has confirmed carrying out large-scale strikes in Yemen, targeting sites linked to the Houthis, with reports pointing to Sanaa among the areas hit. The Houthis, for their part, claim Israeli forces are being forced to retreat, framing the strikes as a failure. The exchange of claims highlights the ongoing escalation between Israel and the Yemeni armed group, which has repeatedly traded attacks with Israel during the Gaza conflict.
Why now: Fresh Israeli strikes on Yemen and conflicting claims of victory or retreat are intensifying attention on the Israel-Houthi conflict.
