Singapore Film The Sandbox Finds Just Seven Moviegoers at Screening

Original: the sandbox singapore film screening

Actors from the Singapore film The Sandbox attempted a surprise visit for moviegoers at a screening, only to find just seven people in the cinema. The moment, reported by Mothership, has drawn amused attention online. Director James Thoo has also been speaking about making the mockumentary about small and medium enterprises, citing influences such as Michael Mann and the 'Jack Neo Effect'.

Why now: The humorous mismatch between the cast's surprise stunt and the tiny audience made the story shareable entertainment news.
