US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's home was raided as part of a Department of Justice immigration investigation, according to a report by The Jerusalem Post. The claim is circulating under the headline alone, with no further details yet available about the raid's date, scope, or whether Omar herself is a target of the probe. Commenters are awaiting confirmation from officials.
Why now: A sitting member of Congress reportedly being drawn into a federal immigration investigation is highly unusual and politically charged.
