Original: RFI Après la crise migratoire, le roi d’Espagne effectue une visite sous haute tension à Ceuta https:// mcinformactions.
Spain's King Felipe VI has travelled to Ceuta, the Spanish enclave on the North African coast, in a visit described as highly tense following the migration crisis there. The trip comes after thousands of migrants crossed into the enclave, straining relations between Madrid and Rabat and fuelling political controversy in Spain, including from the far right.
Why now: The visit is happening shortly after the migration crisis in Ceuta, making it politically sensitive and closely watched.
