Modders bring DLSS Multi-Frame Generation to older GPUs

Original: Meet the modders porting ringfenced DLSS features to older GPUs DLSS Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS 5 Neural Rendering

Community modders have ported Nvidia's ringfenced DLSS features, including Multi-Frame Generation and the Neural Rendering capabilities associated with DLSS 5, to graphics cards the company never intended to support. Two modders central to these community releases say the features can run on older hardware despite Nvidia's official restrictions, undercutting the vendor's tiered gating of its upscaling and frame-generation technologies.

Why now: Gamers with older Nvidia cards are excited that software modding unlocks premium DLSS features Nvidia restricted to newest GPUs.
