Social media users are mocking Russians over their conduct toward neighbors, with one widely shared joke claiming that if Russians were placed on Easter Island, the famous moai statues would be pushed into the sea within a day, followed by Moscow blaming others. The remark ties into ongoing anger over Russia's war in Ukraine, with commentary portraying Russia as an aggressor that never accepts responsibility.
Why now: Frustration over Russia's war in Ukraine is driving mockery of Russia's behavior toward its neighbors.
