A Colorado library is drawing attention for its unusual lending program: alongside 40,000 books, members can borrow 850 nature-focused 'try it' kits, including birdwatching equipment, gardening tools, wildlife cameras and hiking gear. Library watchers say the program helps people explore the outdoors without expensive purchases, part of a broader trend of libraries lending tools and equipment.
