Why Users Stay on Twitter Despite Everything
Original: Why users stay on Twitter
Discussion is circling around why people continue using Twitter even as many announce departures to rival platforms. The conversation points to habit, network effects, real-time news and communities that exist nowhere else as reasons users remain, even those unhappy with the platform's direction and ownership. Others counter that leaving is easier than claimed, but the pull of where conversations happen keeps most people logged in.
Why now: Ongoing debate over the platform's future and migration to alternatives keeps the question of user loyalty alive
