Original: Trump Abuse Of Power.... Democrats Say the Search of Ilhan Omar’s Home Is a ‘Disturbing’ Abuse of Power # AureFreePress
Democratic lawmakers are denouncing a search of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's home as part of a criminal investigation, calling it a disturbing abuse of power and tying it directly to President Trump. The raid has intensified accusations that federal law enforcement is being weaponised against political opponents, with party figures demanding accountability and raising concerns about the independence of investigations targeting sitting members of Congress.
Why now: The search of a prominent Democratic congresswoman's home amid a criminal investigation has reignited debate over the politicisation of law enforcement under Trump.
