Scalebound Remembered Years After Cancellation
Original: Scalebound; gone but not forgotten. # Gaming # VideoGames # Xbox
Gamers are reminiscing about Scalebound, the dragon-focused action game Platinum Games was developing as an Xbox exclusive before Microsoft cancelled it in 2017. The title, directed by Hideki Kamiya, remains one of the most mourned cancellations of its generation, with fans still debating what could have been and calling for its revival.
Why now: Players continue to revisit high-profile cancelled games, and Scalebound remains a touchstone for disappointment over Xbox's lost exclusives.
