Rob Key says Brydon Carse can return for England
Original: Key suggests Carse can return as England reveal contract list Director of cricket Rob Key believes Brydon Carse can play
England director of cricket Rob Key says fast bowler Brydon Carse can play for England again, as the England and Wales Cricket Board published its central contract list. Carse remains under investigation over an incident outside a Derby nightclub in August, but Key's comments signal the governing body has not ruled out his future selection.
Why now: England have announced their central contracts and Key's public backing of Carse during an ongoing investigation is controversial and newsworthy.
